Finding Peace in Unusual Spaces

My sanitarium or sanctorium depending on the day is my place for solitude. Especially, during this pandemic where it seems there’s no place to hide and find peace amongst a family of 6 I’ve found my space. I go there to write, read and just meditate under the sun. It’s also my perfect go to spot to have a glass of wine. When my kids are looking for me, they know where to find me. I’ve started building my alter there, where I put my crystals and interesting artifacts that I find during my adventures. I’ve also started to place plants all around. It’s become my adult playhouse. Happy Hour for 2 Please

I miss the days of happy hour. Meeting friends or enjoying a networking event under the dim lights and pulsating music. We certainly took those days for granted. But they don’t have to go away.
